Calculations

Enter
numerical calculations as you would text in a word-processor, so that you
can edit and review your entire formula. Then, save it to file and add
notes to it so that, you when you use in future, you know how it works. |

Use
named variables in your calculations, for example Income=GrossIncome-Tax.
You can declare and use as many variable as you wish and their names may be
as long as you like. Variables are managed in a separate pane of the
Calculator, so you never need to remember which variables you have declared. |

Evaluate
unknown variables in equations: just place a question mark where you want
the Calculator to evaluate the variable, for example 3.5=1x5.7*?, and the
Calculator will work out the value needed to satisfy the equation. |

Insert
physical constants in your calculations from the Calculator's library of
constants data.
Convert values from imperial to SI units: the Calculator has a library of
over 100 conversion factors. |

Run
iterative calculations. For example, suppose you want to calculate
compound interest over, say, 10 years. Your formula could be entered
in the Calculator like this: Growth=Growth*AnnualInterest. All
you then need to do is click the Calculator's 'Iterate' button and enter a
starting value for 'Growth' and the number year you want to calculate for in
the dialogue that the Calculator displays. |

Save
your calculations to a named file, together with the variables they use and
any associated notes you have made: the Syberad Calculator comes with over
twenty financial and scientific functions of its own which you can use and
edit. |

Plot
graphs from coordinate data you either enter or load from file. The
data can presented as either a cartesian line plot (ie. a standard graph) or
as a bar-chart. In either case, plot colours and settings are fully
customizable. |

Add
error-bars to your data: you can specify values for each coordinate or
use a generic function. |

Add
a regression line-fit to your data: linear, logarithmic, reciprocal,
gaussian, hyperbolic, parabolic and cubic spline fitting functions are
supported. |

Plot
functions such as y=sin(x). You can enter any function for plotting,
it can be as complicated as you like. Functions can also be set in
motion (animated in real-time) so that you can visualize them as a
wave-form. |

Chart
axes are fully customizable so that you can make a chart look exactly the
way you want. |

Combine
charts to produce multiple curve plots. |

Add
text labels to your charts: these can be moved to any location on in the
chart. |

Pan
and zoom your chart so that you can control exactly which part of an
extended data set is visible on the chart's axes. |

Save
and load charts to and from a file. |

Print
charts using either the Calculator's internal print-engine or copy them to
other applications such as Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. |
Statistics

Calculate
the mean, standard deviation and correlation coefficient for a plotted data
set. |

Calculate
the mean, mode, median, standard deviation and confidence interval for a
data set. |

Save
statistics calculations to a file and print them. |
