Download the file to a temporary folder (for example "C:\TEMP") and run it.  All files needed for installation will be unpacked to a temporary folder and the installer will then run automatically.

NB. When you run the HP Companion for the first time, click the 'Continue' button to begin the 30-day evaluation period.  Registration is only required once the evaluation period has expired.
