Axes Layout To obtain information about chart layout controls, mouse-click in the figure shown below.
The text string in this field is used to label the chart with a heading/title; it can be of any length and may contain any alpha-numeric character. Sets the alignment for any labels you have entered in the chart. Tip: Labels are added by depressing and holding down the shift key on the keyboard, whilst at the same time right-clicking the mouse within the chart at the location where the text label is to be added. Labels can be moved by selecting the ‘Drag Label’ tick (check) box in the ’ panel. See the Adding labels topic for more information. Sets the type of line drawn between points in the chart. Sets the type of grid drawn on the chart. Sets the colour of the grid drawn on the chart. Sets the colour of the chart’s background. Sets the colour of the chart’s axes background. Sets the colour of the chart’s axes. Sets the colour of any line-fit drawn on the chart. Sets the width of the chart’s right-hand margin. The top portion of this control increases the margin when it is mouse-clicked, the lower portion reduces it. Sets the width of the chart’s left-hand margin. The top portion of this control increases the margin when it is mouse-clicked, the lower portion reduces it. Sets the width of the chart’s top margin. The top portion of this control increases the margin when it is mouse-clicked, the lower portion reduces it. Sets the width of the line drawn between data points in the chart.
