To access your HP Companion serial number, do either of the following:

bulletMouse click the 'Register' button in any dialogue that displays when the HP Companion is launched;
bulletSelect the 'HP Companion Registration' menu option at any time when the HP Companion is running (see image below).

When the registration dialogue  shown below displays, make a note of the entry in the field called 'Product Serial Number'.  

The serial number is case sensitive, so make sure you record it correctly.
